Faculty Promotions at Herkimer 
March 29, 2010
The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees, at their March 18, 2010 meeting, recognized three faculty through promotion in rank, effective September 1, 2010.
Paul Dusseault, Ilion, was promoted from Associate Professor to Professor. Dusseault was appointed to the HCCC faculty in 1981 and teaches business courses. He holds an A.A. from Mohawk Valley Community College, a B.A. from SUC at Oneonta and a J.D. from Ohio Northern University.
Cynthia Gabriel, Herkimer, was promoted from Associate Professor to Professor. Gabriel joined the faculty in 1998 and teaches English courses. She holds an A.A. from HCCC, and B.S. and M.A. degrees from SUC at Oneonta. Gabriel received the prestigious SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2009.
Randolph Baker, Hamilton, was promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. Baker was appointed to the faculty in 2003 and teaches business and computer courses. He holds an A.A. from Onondaga Community College, a B.S. from SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse and an M.S. from SUNY Binghamton.
HCCC President Ann Marie Murray said, “I am pleased the Board of Trustees has recognized the hard work of these faculty members through granting them promotion in rank. I would like to congratulate the faculty and thank them for their service and dedication to the College.”
