Fall Fest ‘09

Herkimer County Community College’s Fall Fest ‘09 will be held Saturday, October 3. The entire college community, including the general public, is invited to participate.
A Motorcycle, Antique Tractor and Car Show will be held in the College Center parking lot from noon - 4 p.m. Hayrides will take place from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. An international food event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, there will be nature trail hikes, a farmer’s market, caricatures, inflatable games, kite flying, and a solar star gazing activity sponsored by the Mohawk Valley Astronomical Society.
A highlight of the program will be an alumni art exhibit in the Cogar Gallery with a reception from 2 - 4 pm. The movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will be shown in the Theater at 4 p.m.
An intercollegiate women’s soccer game (HCCC vs. Niagara Community College) is scheduled for 2 pm at Wehrum Stadium. A baseball alumni game will be played at 1 pm at the baseball field, and a men’s lacrosse alumni game will be played at 5 pm at Wehrum Stadium.
