Fifth Annual President’s Gala to be held April 20

The Herkimer County College Foundation announces the fifth annual President’s Gala, “Celebrating Creativity,” Saturday, April 20 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Herkimer County Community College’s Robert McLaughlin College Center.
A special exhibition of HCCC student artwork will be showcased in the Cogar Gallery with select pieces available for purchase.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, including antipasto, sushi and other gourmet delights, carving stations, Venetian desserts and an open bar, throughout the evening, catered by Rocky and Barbie Fiato of the Waterfront Grille. Entertainment will be provided by Frank & Gina Cannistra.
A live auction, featuring artwork from local regional artists and selected works by our own HCCC art majors will be conducted by Professor Emeritus Joseph P. DeLorenzo. In addition, a silent auction will feature Walt Disney World park hopper passes, sports memorabilia, a desktop computer, two hour Lil Diamond boat cruise, collectables, decorative items, jewelry and much more.

Reservations are $100 per person and may be made by calling 315-866-0300, ext. 8459. Proceeds will benefit the HCC Foundation which awards more than $150,000 in scholarships annually to HCCC students and invests in other College programs, such as instructional technology, graduation activities and awards events. The work of the Foundation plays a vital role in the enhancement of campus life, as well as assuring that the College continues its demonstrated commitment to higher education.
