Herkimer County Community College Radio-Television Broadcasting program faculty and students will produce webcasts for the Society of Broadcasting Engineers (SBE) at the 37th Annual SBE 22 Broadcast and Technology Expo to be held October 6 and 7 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY. The faculty and students will participate on the crews for two live webcasts on Wednesday—a student career seminar at 10:30 a.m. and the SBE National Meeting at 4 p.m.

“This is a great way for our students to get hands-on experience, as well as an ideal networking opportunity,” said HCCC Professor Kalman A. Socolof. The webcasts can be viewed at the SBC’s website.

The SBE Broadcast and Technology Expo will feature the latest in broadcast, electronic media production, electronic presentation and communication technology; displayed by over 100 exhibitors, and is the largest and longest running show of its kind in the entire Northeast United States.
