Lead Safety Training Course

Herkimer County Community College is offering Lead Safety Training in partnership with Mohawk Valley Community College.
Initial Lead Renovators Certification is required for any renovators without previous training to become a certified lead-safe contractor. This eight-hour initial certification course is to be held on Tuesday, October 5 from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Pre-registration is required by September 28. The fee is $195. Participants are asked to bring a pencil and paper and pack a lunch if so desired. All other materials are included in the course fee.
Lead Renovators Certification Refresher is a four-hour refresher course for any renovators who have taken a prior eligible lead-safety training course to recertify. This certification course is to be held on Wednesday, October 6 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Pre-registration is required by September 28. The fee is $135. Participants are asked to bring a pencil and paper. All other materials are included in the course fee.
