Mohawk Valley Job Fair

Herkimer County Community College is sponsoring a Mohawk Valley Job Fair on Saturday, February 6 from 9:30 a.m. - noon in the Robert McLaughlin College Center on campus. Applicants are invited to attend and meet with representatives from HCCC and other local organizations to discuss employment opportunities. Resumes will be accepted for current and anticipated position vacancies (full and part-time).
Participants include:
- Adirondack Bank-teller (full and part-time), information technology, loan operations, deposit services
- First Source Federal Credit Union-member service representative
- Folts Home-nursing: RNs, LPNs, CNAs; residential companions, resident assistants, dietary, activities, housekeeping, child care
- Herkimer Area Resource Center-part-time and relief entry-level positions, full-time bus driver
- Herkimer County Community College-(pending budget approval) faculty positions: math, economics/business, psychology, social science, forensic investigation, accounting, anatomy/physiology, medical coding/transcription, advertising. Also positions in radio/TV, campus safety, computer science and non-credit instructors (youth programming.)
- Northern Safety Co., Inc.-customer service representatives (full and part-time), data cleansing representative (part-time), bi-lingual customer service representative (Spanish speaking), customer development specialist, inside sales account manager
- Staffworks-clerical, industrial, customer service
- Valley Health Services-dietary aids, certified nurse aids, resident assistants
