Pottery Class Offered at HCCC

Herkimer County Community College is offering a pottery class for community members.
Pottery for All features wheel throwing for the beginner and more advanced student. Beginning students will learn basic throwing skills, clay types, firing methods and glazing. Intermediate and advanced students will work on improving throwing, firing and glazing skills. Demonstrations and one-on-one attention will be provided by the instructor, Vartan Poghosian. The course will meet from 6-8 pm on Wednesday evenings from January 30 to March 20. The fee of $159 includes all materials.
