Professional Development Courses

Herkimer County Community College is offering professional development non-credit courses.
Introduction to Microsoft Excel will teach participants basic spreadsheet development and manipulation skills using the 2007 version of this popular software. Basic computer knowledge is required. The class will meet for four sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting September 28 from 6-8 p.m. Pre-registration is required by September 23. The fee is $59. A textbook is required and is not included in the course fee.
Introduction to Microsoft Access will teach participants to create a simple database with a table, query, form and report. The class will meet for one session on Saturday, September 25 from 9-10:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required by September 22. The fee is $15.
Real Estate Salesperson Qualifying Course is the 75-hour course that provides the instruction required to become a licensed New York State real estate salesperson. It is regulated by the NYS Department of State, which mandates the required course content. The course will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from September 20 through December 8 from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. Pre-registration is required by September 17. The fee is $399. Please note that a textbook is required and not included in the course fee.
