Social Media/Solar Power Classes

Herkimer County Community College is pleased to announce upcoming community education programming.
Social Media Training Seminar is a 3-hour workshop introducing participants to the most popular social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google Places. This class will also inform entrepreneurs on increasing web traffic, being included in top web searches and using social media strategies. The class meets Tuesday, September 27 from 6-9pm. The fee is $29. Pre-registration is required by September 26.
Solar Power Generation Fundamentals for the Homeowner is a renewable energy technology workshop providing information to individuals considering solar electric and/or solar thermal generation. The course will discuss solar power systems, functionality, feasibility and available incentives. The class meets for two sessions on Monday, October 3 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, October 5 from 6-9 p.m. Pre-registration is required by September 29. The fee is $49.
