Student Athletes Named to Green and Gold Club for April

Herkimer County Community College has named two student-athletes to the Green and Gold Club for April 2011.
Trent Thomas, Akwesasane, Ontario, Canada is a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major. An attack man on the lacrosse team, he has led the team in goals and total points for the month of April, with 25 goals and 34 total points. Assistant Coach Stephen Sydoriw said “Trent is a very talented athlete who brings his hard work and quiet leadership to the field everyday.”
Women’s lacrosse goalie Betheny Jennings, Camden, NY is a Liberal Arts & Sciences: Physical Education major. Jennings is ranked third in the nation, with a save percentage of 70%. Coach Dianna Ste-Marie said “Beth is the heart of this team. Her work ethic is amazing. She works hard at every practice and game. We would not have made the Region III tournament without her.”
HCCC’s Green and Gold Club honors an outstanding male and female athlete each month.
