SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher Visits Herkimer

SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher was at Herkimer County Community College today to speak at the Herkimer County College Foundation’s Executive Breakfast event about SUNY’s role as an economic engine in New York State. Among those in attendance were county, chamber of commerce and business leaders as well as leaders from HCCC and MVCC. Zimpher said there needs to be a collaborative effort between all of these entities to improve the economic climate, not only in the communities where SUNY schools, including community colleges, have their campuses, but regionally.
