Tickets Available for Pacifica Quartet

Tickets are now available for the Pacifica Quartet performance on Saturday, November 1 at Herkimer County Community College. Offered through The Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series, the concert will take place at 8 p.m. in the Sarkus-Busch Theater, located in the McLaughlin College Center.
Recognized for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and often daring repertory choices, the Pacifica Quartet has carved out a compelling musical path. Since the group first came together in 1994, the ensemble has swept top prizes in several leading international competitions from the Cleveland Quartet Award to the Naumburg. In 2006, the Pacifica was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant - only the second chamber music ensemble ever to be selected.
The Pacifica Quartet tours extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, performing in the world’s major concert halls in such cities as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Tokyo, and Toronto. The Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series is the result of a generous endowment made by the late Robert H. Wood, a long-time resident of Ilion, NY. The Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series sponsors at least two annual classical music performances to bring together residents of all ages to enjoy high-caliber classical concerts.
Advance sale reserved tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $15. Tickets will be sold at the door for $20. HCCC students with valid ID can purchase tickets in advance or at the door for $10.
