Why College? Presentation Series

Herkimer County Community College recently implemented the “Why College?”presentation series at schools throughout the Mohawk Valley to aid high school students in the transition from secondary to postsecondary education. Pictured is Professor Emeritus Gary Ruff presenting to Laura Scalise’s 12th grade economics class at Herkimer High School. Also participating in the presentation were HCCC alumni Donald Pinto who is also an adjunct instructor and Allison Villeneuve, a retention specialist at the College.
