HCCC sponsors 19 varsity teams and is a member of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference. The intramural sports program is an integral part of the total educational environment. Facilities include a large gymnasium with two full-length basketball courts and a main court; six-lane competition swimming pool; Strength and Conditioning Center; Fitness Center; aerobics room and athletic training room. Outdoor facilities include: Wehrum Stadium, a multi-sport stadium with artificial turf and seating for 1,000; tennis courts; practice fields for soccer, lacrosse; softball and baseball diamonds; cross country course and Nature Trail.
