Accessible computer lab

Computers are available year-round for student use and a universally accessible computer lab is located in the ASC.

Tutoring and writing help is available for all students enrolled in Herkimer College coursework. You can schedule an appointment for in-person tutoring, or access online tutoring.

Disabilities services

The ASC coordinates all services for students with disabilities, starting with the high school-to-college transition for incoming freshmen and continuing throughout the college experience.

Academic coaching

Our academic coaches are here to help students tackle academic challenges and reach their full potential. They will work with you to develop an individualized study plan that works for your schedule and learning style. Students don’t have to wait until they have a problem to seek academic coaching – they can take an offensive strategy by creating a strong plan from the start.

Placement testing

We conduct placement testing for all incoming accepted students; reservations may be made through the ASC for the placement test at 315-866-0300 x8878.
