Athletics
Herkimer County Community College is profiled as having one of the top 3 NJCAA Athletic Programs in the Country.
The College is a member of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference and Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (men’s and women’s divisions).
Intercollegiate men’s teams are fielded in the following areas: baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis and track & field.
Intercollegiate women’s teams include: basketball, bowling, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field and volleyball.
Intramural/Club Sports
The intramural sports program serves to compliment the academic mission of the college by offering a recreational co-curricular experience. Activities include: flag football, 3 on 3 basketball, 5 on 5 basketball, volleyball, softball, dodge ball, floor hockey, Frisbee golf, golf, 3 on 3 soccer, nightminton, speedminton, snow softball, and numerous tournaments.
Club sports are open to all students and include men’s baseball (fall), men’s & women’s lacrosse (fall), men’s & women’s soccer (spring), women’s softball (fall), as well as a dance team.
