Curriculum Highlights
We subscribe to the psychologist Jean Piaget’s theory that children learn through play. Our center is arranged in different Academic Support Centers that provide opportunity for children to interact in a playful yet learning environment. Our curriculum provides children with opportunities to embrace a wide range of spontaneous and productive experience while meeting both individual and group needs. We use an “on hand” approach to learning that recognizes the importance of nurturing the “whole child”.
We accomplish this by planning thematic units involving activities that allow the children to be creative, imaginative, and to strengthen self confidence as well as socio-emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Our highlighted events throughout the year includes field trips, charity events, annual spring shows, multi cultural fiesta’s, preschool graduation, and collaboration with college student programs for example swimming lessons, recreational gym activities, music, storytelling and much more. |
