The Health Office is open to all students and staff for medical evaluations for illnesses as well as medical concerns.

Mrs. Sue Lindberg, Nurse Practitioner is on campus in the Health Office every Thursday afternoon. All are welcome with or without an appointment. Mrs. Lindberg can give physicals, sick visits, medical evaluations and write prescriptions if needed. Almost all insurances are accepted. HMOs may require prior authorization to cover services. Your insurance company will be billed or if you do not have insurance, a bill will be mailed to you. Everyone is welcome regardless.

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

New York State Law requires that students who are on campus for 6 credits or more need to have proof of 2 MMR's (Measles, Mumps & Rubella). This law applies to all students born after January 1, 1957.

A new Public Health Law effective August 15, 2003 makes it mandatory for ALL college students taking 6 or more credits on campus to receive information about Meningitis Disease and Vaccine. ALL students must have a record of receiving the Meningitis Vaccine OR sign a wavier declining the vaccine.

All students will have 30 days from the first day of school to comply with the above requirements. Holds will be put on all your records until these requirements are met. (This means that no transactions can be made on your accounts, example: dropping/adding classes, financial refunds, etc.)
