STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
This is the governing student agency on campus. All activity paying students are eligible to vote in its elections. All students have speaking privileges at these meetings.
SGA entertains requests for funding of Athletics, Student Activities, and all clubs. It decides how the funds from the activity fees will be spent. This budget is submitted to the FSA Board of Directors for disbursement.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE
SAC plans many social and cultural programs on campus. Programs include Parents & Alumni Weekend, Welcome Week , Pre - Exam Jam, various speakers, comedians, hypnotist s, and a diverse selection of movies . Students are encouraged to participate on this committee to assist in choosing performers for the following semesters.

AMERICAN RED CROSS CLUB
The purpose of this club shall be to provide American Red Cross services to the local community and students on the campus of Herkimer County Community College, with members delivering these services acting in accordance with the mission, principles and code of conduct of the American Red Cross.

ANIME CLUB
The club is dedicated to increasing awareness and popularity of Japanese Animation, "Anime", on campus by providing regularly scheduled, free, entertaining and enlightening experiences through public showings of anime.

CAMPUS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP & FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES
Students gather together to share their living faith with others, as well as to support each other in living their Christian lives. There will be bible studies, social activities and opportunities for prayer and praise. Also, there is a special part of the Fellowship specifically focusing on the Christian Wall of HCCC athletes.

FALL BASEBALL CLUB
This club is open to any student interested in baseball. The group will have informal practice sessions in the fall twice a week and Saturday and Sunday weather permitting. The club competes against other colleges through October.

FALL LACROSSE CLUB
This club is for any student that wishes to play lacrosse. Regardless of your lacrosse background, this club is open to anyone at HCCC. When the club winds down in October, we end our fall season with two tournaments - one held on our campus in Wehrum Stadium and then we attend the Cortland tournament.

GENERALS THEATRICAL GROUP
The dominating purpose of this organization is to bring quality theatrical productions to the HCCC campus and the surrounding community. In doing these productions, the students will be given a "hands-on" opportunity to learn about the theatre industry through serving in a variety of roles, but not limited to, acting, directing, technical, stage management, and house and box office management. The organization will attempt to produce two main productions per year that can include live stage, video, film, and audio as performance mediums.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CLUB
The purpose of the club is for participation in extracurricular activities of an outdoor adventure nature including but not limited to:
- participating in outdoor activities such as backpacking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, road biking, snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, white-water rafting, sky diving, etc.
- participating in college and community work projects such as working in the HCCC Nature Center and/or Natural History Museum.

The Peer Tutor Club is open to all students interested in peer tutoring and other aspects of service. PERFORMING ARTS CLUB
The club is open to both male and female students who enjoy all styles of dance. They meet twice a week to develop an energetic, creative show performed at the end of each semester. No experience necessary. Dances include everything from hip-hop, ballet, to jazz. Other talents are welcome such as acting, singing, etc. Join us if you like to have a lot of fun.

PHI THETA KAPPA
This is an International Honor Society . The purpose of this society is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two year college students. The organization provides an opportunity for the development of leadership and service through its various service projects. Members may have the opportunity to participate in regional, state and international conferences. Membership is limited to those students who achieve a 3.5 cumulative average, and accumulate 12 credit hours.

This award winning club fosters interest in electronic media. While open to all students, the club helps to augment the education of the college's Radio-TV Broadcasting students. Field trips, speeches, workshops, philanthropic activities, and production external to the credit-bearing courses are a part of the annual activities. HCCC's Radio-TV club is a chapter of the National Broadcasting Society/ Alpha Epsilon Rho.

Open to students who are interested in playing soccer in the spring. The spring team will participate in indoor tournaments. When the weather breaks, the club will then play outdoor games against Division I, II and III colleges.

Student Issues Club is an organization designed to prevent destructive decisions (ie. The use of drugs, violence, suicide, etc.) and to provide intervention and prevention methods for students so they may have a better understanding of the issues while realizing the consequences of their actions.
Students will also examine and analyze contemporary social problems and issues. Speakers and organizations will be invited to the college to present various interpretations of these issues.

The Women's Club is open to both men and women, both students and faculty, who wish to serve the purpose of raising awareness dealing with women's issues.
