Transfer Agreements
An articulation agreement or transfer agreement is a document that outlines specific requirements needed to make a smooth transfer from a two-year college to a stipulated four-year college or university. Generally, these agreements will state that a student with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree or Associate in Applied Science degree can transfer into that specific college as a junior. Other criteria that may be mentioned in the agreement include a minimum grade point average, designated courses or credits, scholarship availability, and program provisions. Transfer agreements may also contain course equivalencies for Herkimer County Community College courses.
