    Herkimer College announces the appointment of Justin Como of Greenwood, MS to the position of assistant professor of studio art. Como will be responsible for teaching studio art courses, student advisement and curriculum development.

  • Herkimer College to Offer Instant Days in August
    Herkimer College will offer three Instant Admit days in the month of August for students interested in enrolling for the fall 2015 semester. Students interested in enrolling will be able to visit, apply and get admitted to the College on the same day. Instant Admit days will be held on Monday August 3, 10 & 17  from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Herkimer College has been ranked second best community college in New York State for the 2013-2014 academic year by Schools.com.  
  • Herkimer Generals Repeat as NATYCAA Cup Winners
    For the second consecutive year, the Herkimer Generals athletic program has won the 2014-2015 National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup, keeping Herkimer ranked first in the nation among NJCAA non-scholarship programs. Herkimer also finished third in the standings for the 2014-2015 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup which recognizes the top overall two-year colleges in all divisions combined. Both programs recognize excellence in two-year colleges, based on athletic success in championship competition.
