Herkimer College to Host Softball Clinic at Accelerate Sports Complex During Winter Break

The Herkimer College softball program will hold a Holiday Softball Clinic for players ages 12-18 on Tuesday, December 27 at Accelerate Sports Complex in Whitesboro, NY.

The clinic will be run by PJ Anadio, head softball coach for the Herkimer Generals. Anadio and his staff will be assisted by Division I Nichols State assistant coach/pitching coach Jessica Seamon, future National Professional Fastpitch player Sammy Smaldone, Accelerate Sports softball director Bryan Ingalls and East Stroudsburg University head softball coach, former professional player, and current National Professional Fastpitch coach Jaime Wohlbach.

There will be three sessions: pitching and catching from 9 to 11 a.m., infield/outfield from noon to 2 p.m. and hitting from 2 to 4 p.m. The cost is $40 per session or $75 for two sessions or $100 for three sessions.

Participants are expected to bring equipment necessary for their position. Pitchers are encouraged to bring a parent or catcher with them to assist in the bullpen. Sneakers are the only footwear allowed on the turf, and softball pants are highly encouraged.

To register, contact Head Coach PJ Anadio at anadiopr@herkimer.edu or 518-848-6693. Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Registration will be open one hour prior to the start of each session.
