Irish Courses Offered at Herkimer College

Herkimer, NY — Herkimer College will offer non-credit Irish courses.

Introduction to Irish Language will introduce participants to the basic conversational Irish (Gaelic) language. Common expressions, pronunciation, conversation, and songs will be discussed. The course will meet for six sessions on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30pm beginning February 6. Pre-registration is required by February 3. The fee is $55.

Irish Poetry will explore both contemporary and traditional Irish poetry. The course will meet for six sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30pm beginning February 5. Pre-registration is required by January 31. The fee is $55.
