Herkimer College Appoints Academic Support Center Specialist/CTE Success Coach

Herkimer College announces the appointment of Hannah Stubley, of Ilion, NY to the position of academic support center specialist/CTE success coach. Stubley will support students enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) academic programs in all aspects of academic and co-curricular life by providing individual/group support to students with the purpose of supporting academic success, increased retention, completion, and career guidance.

Stubley was most recently a part-time academic coach at Herkimer College, providing individualized support and feedback in study strategies, time/task management, goal-setting, strengths assessment and other areas in need of development in a student’s successful transition to and persistence with post-secondary academic expectations.

Stubley holds an Associate of Arts degree in social sciences from Herkimer College. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College in women’s studies with a minor in American studies and a Master of Arts degree from SUNY Albany in women’s gender & sexuality studies. She has been a member of the National Women’s Studies Association since 2013.

The Academic Support Center offers a variety of services to help maximize students’ academic potential. Whether completing courses on campus or online, all Herkimer College students are welcome at the Academic Support Center, and services are free of charge.
