Lead Renovator Safety Training

Herkimer College will be offering a non-credit Lead Renovator course.

Lead Renovators is an 8 hour initial certificate course required for any renovators without previous training to become certified lead-safe contractors. All contractors or landlords working in pre-1978 housing, schools, or child-occupied facilities are required to obtain an EPA firm license and have their workers trained in lead-safe work practices. The class will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 25th. The fee is $195.
