An exhibit of photographs “Mohawk Valley Through the Lens,” by various photographers will be on display at Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery May 6th through June 28th. An artist’s reception will be held on May 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Cogar Gallery.

This photo exhibit features several photographer’s work, including Cliff Oram, Gabe Oram, Robert Ostrander, Todd Walker, Lynn Scarfuto and Jenny Kielbasa Galough. The goal of their work is to show the natural and man-made beauty of the strip of land situated along the Mohawk River, and to provide a window of the “good” that is all around, and sometimes overlooked. Their objective is to present the Mohawk Valley in a way that evokes fond memories and a sense of pride to all.

The Cogar Gallery is open to the public free of charge Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when the College is open.
