Weather Watchers Camp

Herkimer College is offering a weather watchers day camp for youth.

Weather Watchers will teach participants about the different types of weather phenomenon. Topics will include lake effect snow, thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. The camp is for students ages 9-13, and will run from Monday, July 28 to Thursday, July 31 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, July 24 as space is limited. This camp will be taught by WKTV meteorologist Bill Kardas. The cost of the camp is $69. Scholarships are available due to the generosity of the Beatrice Cavaretta Faga & Maryellen Faga Kieffer Fund, a donor advised fund of The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc.
