  • Herkimer College Students Honored with SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence
    Herkimer County Community College seniors Timothy McKenzie (Central Islip, NY) and Lindsey Parese (Herkimer, NY) received the 2016 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. The award recognizes students who have best demonstrated and have been recognized for, the integration of academic excellence with accomplishments in the areas of leadership, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, campus involvement or career achievement.
  • Used Book Sale
    The Herkimer College Library will host a used book sale Sunday, April 10 through Friday, April 15 to coincide with National Library Week.
  • Summer Course Registration is Open
    Herkimer County Community College is accepting registrations for summer session. More than 65 classes will be offered in a variety of subject areas including business, education, health, humanities, mathematics, physical therapy, science and social science.
  • American Red Cross Blood Drive
    Herkimer College is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, April 14 from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm. It will be held in Alumni Hall, room 217 in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
  • Transfer College Fair
    College representatives from over 65 four-year colleges and universities will participate in Herkimer College’s Transfer College Fair on Tuesday, April 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. Representatives will provide information about their colleges and answer questions related to transferring.
  • Herkimer College Gospel Choir Provides Music for Easter Sunday Service
    Herkimer County Community College’s Gospel Choir led the music for the Easter Sunday service at New Life Church in Herkimer this past weekend. The choir and all college students who attended the service were hosted by New Life Church for an Easter meal. Led by Gregory Jenkins, a Childhood Education major from Port Chester, New York, the Gospel Choir is part of Herkimer College’s Campus Christian Fellowship group and is open to all students.
