  • Holocaust Survivor Presentation Postponed
    “An Afternoon with Helen Sperling: Holocaust Survivor, Historian, Teacher” previously scheduled for Wednesday, December 2 from 4-6 p.m. at Herkimer College has been postponed. Updated information will be released when the program is rescheduled.
  • American Red Cross Blood Drive
    Herkimer College is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, December 3 from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm. It will be held in Alumni Hall, room 217 in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. The blood drive will be co-sponsored by the Center for Student Leadership & Involvement and the men’s baseball team.
  • Adirondack Watercolor Travel Show on Display at Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery
    The Cogar Gallery at Herkimer College has 20 paintings on display from the 2015 Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Travel Show through Wednesday, January 6.
  • Holocaust Survivor to Speak at Herkimer College
    Herkimer College’s Women’s Club is sponsoring “An Afternoon with Helen Sperling: Holocaust Survivor, Historian, Teacher.” The program will be held on Wednesday, December 2 from 4-6 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Sarkus Busch Theater.
  • Festival of Lights at Herkimer Mini Park
    The annual “Festival of Lights” will take place on Tuesday, December 1 at the Tony Baggetta Mini Park, located on the corner of West Smith and William Streets. The festival will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a reception at the Herkimer Area Resource Center Valley Commons, located at 344 South Main Street.
  • Winners of “My Job, My Future” Student Essay Contest honored
    “My Job, My Future” Student Essay Contest top prize winner Reilly Rich’s essay talked about much of the positive developments taking place in the Mohawk Valley such as nanotechnology, new restaurants, the Rockin’ Jump trampoline park opening soon in New Hartford, the Utica Comets, new hotels and plans for a new hospital.
