Women's Soccer goes 1-1 at National Tournament, finish season 5th in the Nation

Dryden, NY - The Herkimer Generals wrapped up another successful season by going 1-1 at the 2019 NJCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Championships this weekend at Tompkins-Cortland Community College. The Generals finish the season at 17-2 overall and won the Region III Championship for the third straight year under 4th year coach Jason Palkovic and finish 5th in the Nation for the second straight season. 

After dropping a 3-0 decision to # 5 Brookdale on Thursday afternoon in the National Quarterfinal, the 4th seeded Generals bounced back on Friday with a 3-0 win over # 8 Rowan Gloucester in the consolation bracket of the tournament. Courtney Madia (Frankfort, NY), Madison Hampston (Poland, NY) and Emily LeBlanc (Morrisville, NY) accounted for the goals in the win.
