  Financial Aid Workshop

  Herkimer College is hosting a financial aid workshop for students and families of college bound students. This “hands-on” session will allow students, parents and families to complete the 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the help of a financial aid member. The workshop will be held Saturday, February 22 from 9-11 a.m. in the Ronald F.   Herkimer College will hold an Information Session for prospective students on Thursday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to noon in the McLaughlin College Center. Representatives from the Admissions and Financial Aid offices will be available to explain and assist with the application process. Campus tours will be offered at 10 and 11 am.   Herkimer College announces the appointments of Joseph Matteson, Herkimer, NY, to the position of Senior Systems Programmer/Analyst, effective January 27, 2014; and Andrew D. Allen, Utica, NY, as Systems Programmer Analyst, beginning February 10, 2014.

  Men’s Soccer Banner Unveiling

  The 2013 men’s soccer national championship banner was unveiled during halftime of the January 30th Herkimer College men’s basketball game against Mohawk Valley Community College. The Herkimer Generals men’s soccer team defeated Suffolk College in November 1-0, capturing the program’s tenth overall and third consecutive NJCAA Division III national championship. Led by head coach Pepe Aragon, the Generals went 17-1 in 2013. They outscored opponents 61-to-5, compiling an impressive 13 shutouts.
