Herkimer College Welcomes Students for the Fall 2025 Semester
Herkimer College has begun the Fall 2025 semester with strong enrollment growth and an energized campus community. Students moved into College housing on Saturday, August 30, with classes officially beginning on Tuesday, September 2.

Herkimer College to Offer Financial Aid WorkshopHerkimer College will offer a financial aid workshop on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Academic Support Center computer lab, located in the Library Building. Financial Aid staff will offer a brief overview of financial aid programs, how financial aid is processed and will assist students and families in completing the 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the institution of their choice.

Herkimer College Appoints Dr. Vernold as Assistant Professor/Director of Education ProgramsHerkimer, NY—Herkimer County Community College has announced the appointment of Dr. Eric Vernold, Rome, NY, to the position of Assistant Professor/Director of Education Programs. In addition to teaching education courses, Vernold will be responsible for developing and maintaining practicum and internships for education majors with school-based partners and placing, monitoring and evaluating students participating in practicum and internship experiences.
