    The Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for the 2017-2018 academic year. To apply, students must already be enrolled at Herkimer College or be accepted for admission for the fall 2018 semester. The application is available online at www.herkimer.edu/scholarship-app.

    “Cobden at Night” by Charles A. Swedlund will be on display at Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery Thursday, November 16 through Wednesday, December 20. There will not be an artist’s reception held for this show.

    Herkimer College will host a presentation, “How to get High Naturally,” by nationally-renowned speaker Matt Bellace. The event will take place Wednesday, November 1 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 247.

    Two Herkimer College students received recognition from the Community College Humanities Association (CCHA) for their contributions to the 2017 issue of the College’s arts and literary publication Phaethon.

    Herkimer County Community College will hold an open house on Friday, November 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Prospective students and families will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet faculty and staff, and learn about academic programs, transfer and career opportunities, support services, financial aid, on-campus housing, athletics, campus life and more.
