Jason Rathbun Named Region III & Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year

Herkimer College Men’s Baseball Coach Jason Rathbun was named NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year and Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.

Rathbun, from Little Falls, NY took over the program in 2005. During the 11 years he has been head coach, Herkimer College has had two players drafted by the MLB, 11 regional playoff appearances, nine regional final four appearances, six regional championship games, five World Series appearances, three third place finishes in the World Series, and nine conference championships.

The Generals, 45-4, won the 2015 Region III championship defeating Erie Community College this past weekend. They will travel to Kinston, NC where they will compete in the NJCAA Division III World Series May 23-28.
