Herkimer College’s Pat Miller Honored as an On Point Campus Angel

Pat Miller, of Herkimer, NY, was recently recognized as a 2016 On Point for College Utica “Campus Angel.” As a senior financial aid assistant at Herkimer County Community College, Miller works closely with On Point students to help them overcome challenges and succeed.

Utica On Point Director Kevin Marken said, “As a campus angel, Pat has shown great compassion, leadership and service to low income and first generation college students, finding creative ways to help them to succeed. She is known for going the extra mile and always helping students to forward their educational dreams.”

Miller received her award at the On Point for College Utica Celebration Dinner held at Daniele’s Banquet Specialists in New Hartford on Thursday, November 10. She was also honored as a campus angel in 2007 by On Point in Syracuse.

Miller has been employed at Herkimer College since 1999. She holds an associate degree from Herkimer College and a bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University.
