Five Herkimer College Teams Named NJCAA All-Academic Teams

Herkimer College had five athletic teams named 2013-14 NJCAA All-Academic Teams for achieving academic excellence. . Teams recognized for their grade point averages were:

Women’s Basketball, 3.13, Coach Brad Gouger
Women’s Bowling, 3.12, Coach P.J. Anadio
Women’s Cross Country, 3.14, Coach Julie DelMedico
Women’s Softball, 3.31, Coach P.J. Anadio
Women’s Volleyball, 3.25, Coach Kristy Lynch

The minimum team grade point average requirement for a team to be recognized is 3.00. Donald Dutcher, Director of Athletics at Herkimer College, said “We congratulate our five teams for their excellent work this year, both in the classroom and in their sports. Their hard work and commitment to their academic work is outstanding.”
