Softball Clinics Offered at Herkimer College

The Herkimer Generals softball team will host a one-day pitching and catching clinic on Sunday, February 1 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.in the gymnasium.

The clinic is open to participants ages 10-18. Pitchers will work on proper mechanics, leg drive, grips, spins and how to maximize pitch velocity and location. Catchers will work on blocking, framing, receiving, footwork, throwdowns, game calling and the mental aspect of the game.

The cost of the clinic is $50. Participants must bring their own gloves and catchers equipment. Athletic clothing and sneakers are required.
