Herkimer Faculty Promoted to Associate and Assistant Professor Ranks

The Herkimer College Board of Trustees, at the March 26 meeting, took action to recognize the following employees through approval of promotion in rank, effective September 1, 2014.

Promoted from assistant professor to associate professor-Information Systems was Annette Yauney, who was appointed to the Herkimer College faculty in 1990. She holds an A.A.S. from Genesee Community College; and a B.S and M.S. from SUNY at Albany. Yauney received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2002.

Promoted from instructor to assistant professor were Joshua Belisle, Lisa Calli. Jessica Kelly, William Stack and Faith Thompson.

Joshua Belisle, Mathematics, was appointed to the faculty in 2010. He holds an A.S. from Mohawk Valley Community College; and a B.A. and M.S. from SUNY at Geneseo.

Lisa Calli, Social Science/Psychology, was appointed to the faculty in 2010 and holds a B.S. from the University of Oregon and M.A. from Pennsylvania State University.

Jessica Kelly, STEM-Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics, was appointed to the faculty in 2012. She holds a B.S. from William Smith College and an M.S. from SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry.

William Stack, Criminal Justice-Forensics, was appointed to the faculty in 2010. He holds a B.P.S. from SUNYIT at Utica/Rome and an M.J.A. from Norwich University.
Faith Thompson, Physical Science, was appointed to the faculty in 2004. She holds a B.S. from Albany College of Pharmacy and M.S. from SUNY Albany.

Interim President Nicholas F. Laino said “I am pleased that our Board of Trustees recognized these faculty for their hard work through their promotion in rank. I would like to congratulate these individuals on the commitment to teaching and learning they bring to the classroom each day.”
