    The Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. To apply, students must already be enrolled at Herkimer College or be registered for admission for the fall 2019 semester. The application is available online at www.herkimer.edu/scholarship-app.

  • Americu to Sponsor the Herkimer County Arts and Crafts Fair
    The Herkimer County Arts & Crafts Fair serves as a major fundraiser for the Herkimer County College Foundation. This year’s fair is sponsored by Americu and will take place on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 on the Herkimer College campus. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. This long-established fine arts and crafts fair is one of the largest and well-respected in New York State. With more than 120 vendors expected, the juried show features top artisans showcasing their works including pottery, gourmet foods, wood working, textiles, weaving, oil painting, soaps, jewelry and more. “We’re so pleased to welcome Americu to the event this year as a major sponsor. Their support of the College and Foundation has a positive impact on the students of Herkimer College,” said Rob Fowler, Executive Director of the Herkimer County College Foundation. The Foundation has developed and supports over 80 scholarships and scholarship programs that award more than $130,000 annually to eligible students.   • Herkimer College to Hold Fall Open House
    Herkimer County Community College will hold a fall open house on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Herkimer College Magazine Wins Awards
    Two Herkimer College students received recognition from the Community College Humanities Association (CCHA) for their contributions to the 2018 issue of the college’s arts and literary publication Phaethon.
    Theodore J. Cook of the Mohawk Correctional Campus won first place for his original script, “The Other Side of the Curtain.” GuiHua Gan, an international student from China, won third place in the artwork category for her ceramic sculpture “Longping.”
  • Notice of Board of Trustees Meeting
    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Saturday, October 20 at 12:30 p.m. in room 217 of the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
