#8 Bulldogs advance to national championship game with 1-0 win

HEKRIMER, NY – Taking down #1 Genesee in the opening round, then #4 Camden in the semis, the #8 Bunker Hill Bulldogs advanced to the NJCAA DIII National Championship game on Sunday (11/15) with a 1-0 win over Camden on Friday (11/13) at Wehrum Stadium.

Scoring the game winner in the 81st minute was Nuno Pereira, on an assist from teammate Francisco Fernandes-Neto. It was his second goal in three games for the Bulldogs, and third of the entire season, coming on as of late for his team. As for Fernandes-Neto, is was his 17th assist.

In goal for Bunker Hill was Ever Barrera. The sophomore got his sixth shutout, saving four shots in the semis. As for Anthony Cutillo, he saved three shots in a losing effort.
