HERKIMER, NY – Hosting SUNY Delhi in the varsity gym on Tuesday (12/1), the Herkimer Generals women’s basketball played well, defeating SUNY Delhi 72-29.

Herkimer (5-4, 2-1) has been tough to beat at home this season, now boasting a 5-1 record. Helping the team to that feat was a slew of Generals, seeing 10 players score in the contest. The freshman has been held under 20 points in only four games thus far.

After Jackson, both Dahnasia Williams (Albany, NY) and Angela Porcelli (Marlboro, NY) chipped in eight points. Behind those two a one point was Alexandria Hardy (Kerhoknson, NY) and Diamonique Franklin (Long Island City, NY) with seven. Rounding out the scoring was Kristy Wallace (Frankfort, NY), Alicia Evans (Watertown, NY), Emerald Pett (Utica, NY), Olivia Fitzgerald (Lyons Falls, NY) and Meghan Veschusio (Frankfort, NY). Wallace had six, Evans had six, Pett had five, Fitzgerald had four and Veschusio had two points.
