Herkimer Generals Men's Soccer dominates Onondaga Lazers 4-1
Local athlete #32 Issak Somow (Utica, NY) wasted no time in the Generals contest versus the Lazers Thursday night, scoring the first goal of the game in just the third minute. Somow’s goal assisted by sophomore #8 Jordan Saling.
Later that half Dajhal Kelly added two more goals assisted by freshman #13 Camilo Avendano in the 14th minute, and sophomore captain #11 Eddie Speed in the 21st minute. The Generals topped off their offensive reign with just two minutes left in the first half with a goal scored by freshman forward #34 Selmir Muskic. Herkimer defense held strong allowing the Lazers only one goal in the second half by freshman midfielder Kyle Demo which left the final score 4-1.
The Herkimer Generals look to continue their success next Wednesday (9/7) as they host SUNY Adirondack at 7pm.
