Blumenstock Led Generals to Victory Over Vikings

Herkimer Generals women's soccer took on the Hudson Valley Vikings this afternoon in an NJCAA Region III match up at Wehrun Stadium.  Freshman #13 Mikayla Blumenstock (Poland, NY) was the powerhouse on the field today as she scored three out of the five goals and assisted the other two.  The first of which from #15 Hannah Tayor (St. Johnsville, NY), and the last by #7 Jenna Rogers (Port Leyden, NY).  The  Generals' defense stifled any attempt the Vikings offense to control the ball.  The Vikings were only able to produce three shots on goal which Herkimer goalies #1 Honesti Crochran and #0 Kenzie Bradshaw easily saved.  Herkimer looks to keep the ball rolling in their next game at Wehrum Stadium Saturday (10/1) versus the Anne Arundel Riverhawks at 2:30 p.m.
