Nicosia named to 2013 NSCAA All-American Team

HERKIMER, NY – Freshman Midfielder Danielle Nicosia (Oneonta, NY) was named to the second-team of the 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire Junior College Division III Women's All-American Team in December 2013.

Nicosia played in 15 games for the Generals, starting everyone one of them. She helped Herkimer to a Region III playoff appearance last fall, thanks to a five game-stretch where she accumulated five goals and two assists. Herkimer won each one of those games, giving them a five-game win streak, their best of the season. By seasons end, Nicosia finished with eight goals and two assists.

The Generals were coached by Amy Dommer in 2013. Dommer led the team to an 8-6-1 record.
