Pett & Harley Win Generals Green & Gold Athlete of the Month

Emerald Pett (Utica, NY): Sophomore forward #10 Emerald Pett on the Herkimer Women's Basketball team earns January Green & Gold female athlete of the month.  Pett's current basketball resume for the season includes 217 rebounds; 10.3 per game, 37 assists, 44 steals, 20 blocks and averages 7 points per game.  Interim Head Coach Jerry Smith states "She is a team leader on and off the court.  She excels in the classroom earning Dean's list.  She hustles 100% of the time and is a great role model for her team and future young basketball players."

Justin Harley (Central Islip, NY):  Sophomore forward #1 Justin Harley on the Herkimer Generals Men's Basketball team has earned January Green & gold male athlete of the month.  Harley's season has included some impressive numbers such as 216 rebounds; 10.3 per game, 31 assists, 27 steals, 35 blocks, and 10.6 points per game.  Justin's earned another double-double on the season vs Hudson Valley January 28th with 12 points and 15 rebounds.  Head Coach Matt Lee states "Justin Harley is a leader for us on and off the court."
