Herkimer College to host storyteller Shaashawn Dial-Snowden

Herkimer College will host storyteller Shaashawn Dial-Snowden on Tuesday, February 6 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College center, room 288.

Shaashawn “The Voyce” Dial-Snowden is an award winning radio broadcaster, thrice published passionate poet and multi-sensory workshop facilitator. Shaashawn is the founder/owner of Voycetress Media, LLC: Putting Your Voice in the Foreground. Voycetress Media provides services that affirm and empower individuals and organizations via workshop facilitation and training on leadership, diversity, inclusion, and social justice topics. Shaashawn's greatest passion is creating outlets for all persons to discover their voice. To Shaashawn, “voice” is the tool for which people take holistic ownership of their mental, physical, spiritual, and economic health. Shaashawn strives to exercise her own voice to inspire those who have lost their voice to re-discover it and to aid those who do not think they have a voice – to find it. Shaashawn is legally married to Lindsay, her partner of nine years.
