#1 Herkimer Men's Soccer beats # 6 Erie on the road
Buffalo, NY – The Generals moved to 9-0-0 on the season beating #6 nationally ranked Erie Community College on the road. Sophomore Shane Hennessy (Yonkers, NY) scored in the 22nd minute off an assist from sophomore Marvin Tapia (Fairfax, Virginia). Herkimer second goal of the game was scored in the 76th minute from Hennessey again with the assist to Tapia. Freshman Shemar Blair (Brampton, Ontario, Canada) scored the final two goals of the game. Blair’s first goal was in the 86th minute off an assist from freshman Sena Shintate (Kyoto, Japan). Blair finished off the scoring for the Generals in the 89th minute off an assist from freshman Tarik Moussaoui (Oslo, Norway). Freshman Aubrey Lowe (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) recorded the shutout making three saves.
The Generals complete their Western New York trip tomorrow where they will face Niagara CC. Kickoff is at 12:00pm.
