Cogar Gallery to Exhibit “Out of My Head” by Mario Andrés Colón

An exhibit of paintings and drawings by Mario Andrés Colón will be on display at Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery March 8th through April 30th. An artist’s reception will be held on March 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Cogar Gallery.

Mario Andrés Colón is a contemporary representational painter and illustrator. His work is narrative in nature and deals with themes derived from contemporary life, lyrical and literary influences, and experiences from his day-to-day. He received his MFA from Laguna College of Art and Design where he studied painting. Mario has works held in private and public collections, has participated in solo and group exhibitions, and is currently showing at the Hive Gallery in downtown Los Angeles. Mario currently resides in the greater Utica area where he teaches at Mohawk Valley Community College.

The Cogar Gallery is open to the public free of charge Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when the College is open.
