Generals lose on PK's in National Semifinal

Herkimer, NY - #2 Camden County College and #3 Herkimer College battled through 90 minutes of regulation and 2 overtime periods of scoreless action in the Men's Soccer Division III National Semifinal at Wehrum Stadium on Thursday night, but 110 minutes wasn't enough.

The Cougars and Generals had to resolve the issue of who would advance to the National Title Game on Saturday by going to penalty kicks, with Camden coming out on top by a score of 4-2 to move on to meet #1 Dallas College-Richland in the Championship.

The Generals end the Spring season with a record of 6-2-1 and a ranking of # 3 in the final NJCAA Division III Poll. The Generals won the Region III Championship for the 22nd time in 23 years under Head Coach Pepe Aragon.
