Herkimer College will host the 2021 NJCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National Championship Tournament this week. All games will be held at Wehrum Stadium.

Herkimer College will host the 2021 NJCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National Championship Tournament this week. All games will be held at Wehrum Stadium.

The Generals topped Mohawk Valley 1-0 in the Region III, District B championship game on October 31 to improve their record to 10-1 on the season and punch their ticket to the national tournament. The Generals secured the No. 3 seed and will play in the national quarterfinals against the No. 6 seeded Sussex County CC. It will be the 23rd trip to the national tournament for Herkimer’s Coach Pepe Aragon since he took over the program in 1998.

The field of eight teams was set last week during district championship play. The seeding and quarterfinals schedule is as follows:

Thursday, November 11:

  • 11 am         (8) Anne Arundel (MD) vs. (1) Dallas-Richland (TX)
  • 1:30 pm (5) Nassau (NY) vs. (1) Camden County (NJ)
  • 4 pm          (7) Bunker Hill (MA) vs. (2) Genesee CC (NY)
  • 6:30 pm    (6) Sussex CC (NJ) vs. (3) Herkimer College (NY)

The national semifinals will be played Friday, November 12 at 4 pm and 6:30 pm. The national championship game will be played on Friday, November 14 at 1 pm.

Admission is $5 per day. Children under 12 are free.
